Dr. F. Andrew Morfesis is a surgeon with 38 years experience; he has worked in Fayetteville for twenty years. His experience includes Active Staff at Cape Fear Valley hospital (CFVH); co-founder Trauma service at CFVH, prior Chief of General Surgery service, speaker for the NC/SC American College of Surgeons, American Hernia Society meetings and presented abstracts at more than a dozen recent international forums He is Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at Campbell U. School of Medicine. Dr. Morfesis has worked wound care clinics for more than ten years.
Dr. Morfesis current work encompasses all areas of care including use of office based systems to treat wound and skin disorders and use of "hyperbaric oxygen" (oxygen under pressure) to treat complications of surgery, radiation therapy, non-healing injuries and other external and internal disorders. He is a fully accredited and certified General Surgeon.
