Deon Faillace, MD
Dr. Deon Faillace is a general surgeon who brings more than 40 years of clinical experience in wound care to both acute trauma and chronic disease processes. She did her general surgery residency at Wayne State University, training at Detroit Receiving Hospital (Level 1 trauma center). She became board certified in General Surgery in 1983 and became a fellow of The American College of Surgeons in 1985.
She has been in private practice in Fayetteville, NC since 1987. In 2017, Dr Faillace became intrigued with hyperbaric oxygen therapy as it applied to all types of tissue injury and wound healing. She found new focus for her knowledge and experience. She has developed a special interest in TBI and CTE in our military veterans by working with Mission 22. As a patient advocate, she is committed to individualized medical evaluation and patient care.
