I came for wound care and was referred to RHM. I was a bit frightened but it was actually a pleasant experience to my surprise.
I still have the scar tissue, but no infection and everything is great. I feel great. Maybe I feel a little bit better than I feel overall. If I could do this periodically, every year, I would do it just for wellness. It’s the real deal.
I had been working at RHM for the past 10 years, so when I had a problem and needed hyperbarics, I was right here.
In 2016, I developed prostate cancer and decided to go with radiation therapy. It was successful but a year after the therapy, I had to have surgery to address necrotic prostate tissue that was causing discomfort. The surgery did not go well and there were severe complications from the procedure which resulted in incontinence.
I talked to Dr. Schwegman about whether or not he thought that hyperbarics would help my situation. I underwent 40 hyperbaric treatments, and after that I was completely asymptomatic. Pretty much a miracle. It changed my life for the better. I would without question recommend hyperbarics.
I was referred to Regenerative & Hyperbaric Medicine for hyperbaric therapy and wound care by my breast surgeon. I had bilateral breast cancer that was complicated by infection post surgery. My doctor at RHM explained everything very clearly — what the plan was, what our goal was, and how long we thought the therapy would take.
The staff was so supportive and made me feel at home. Ultimately, my infection resolved and I’m here. It could have been really bad. My life has been changed because I’m still here.
There is great science behind this therapy. It is widely used and has been proven to be successful. I would highly recommend Regenerative & Hyperbaric Medicine.

My hyperbaric treatments have been a real game changer in my quality of life since having my radiation treatments for head/neck cancer. The entire team at Hyperbaric Physicians of GA is amazing! Dr Schwegman and Dr Hodgson, nursing staff Terri, Wendy and Heather, plus firefighting EMT's Rich, Shannon, Tristan, Tony and Tyler literally provide a medical spa concierge service. I've been able to avoid a 7th esophageal dilation surgery and improve bone/ligament healing since having hyperbaric treatments. Don't be fooled by at-home or at-spa chambers. The medical process must be closely monitored by highly trained medical staff if you are to receive full benefits of breathing 100% oxygen. These folks are the best!
Staff is professional and caring. They explain every step of treatment and answer all my questions. They truly care about you and your recovery. From wound care to hyperbaric treatments I feel very comfortable and cared for. Dr. Hodgson, Dr. Schwegman, Wendy, Terry and Rich along with all of the staff are excellent.
